Role: Cloud & Infrastructure Architect Key Responsibilities Design and implement hybrid infrastructure architectures integrating on-prem and Azure cloud. Define cloud adoption strategies, migration plans, and modernization roadmaps. Configure and manage Azure IAM (RBAC), Policies, Blueprints, and Governance frameworks. Establish organization policies for compliance, security, and resource management. Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and operational standards. Implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies for critical workloads. Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep). Oversee network design (VNet, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway) and storage solutions. Ensure high availability, backup, and failover mechanisms across Azure environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure and cloud solutions with business objectives. Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams. Required Skills Strong experience in Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Azure AD, Security Center). Expertise in traditional infrastructure (servers, virtualization, networking, storage). Hands‑on experience with IAM, Organization Policies, and governance. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Ability to produce detailed architecture diagrams and service documentation. Strong understanding of DR and BCP frameworks and implementation in Azure. Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, GDPR). Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Experience with multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud strategies. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python).
