About the role

The Accounting Assistant in Cuzco will handle all accounting transactions, manage bank reconciliations, oversee supplier payments with proper documentation, and maintain organized document records for internal control.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and record all accounting transactions based on approved GL accounts,
  • Reconcile bank accounts,
  • Process supplier payments with required documentation,
  • Maintain digital and physical document archives,
  • Analyze accounts monthly,
  • Assist with office administrative tasks.

Requirements:

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an Accounting Assistant,
  • Knowledge of NICs and NIIF, PCGE,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level),
  • Intermediate English proficiency (oral and written).

Skills:

  • Quick learner with great attention to detail,
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels,
  • Ability to adapt to various accounting/ERP software,
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and initiative-driven,
  • Strong time management skills,
  • Commitment and punctuality.
