Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the servers hosted in the Computer Center of the Main Office of PETROPERU.
  • Keep updated the procedures of attention of requirements agreed with the client.
  • Develop recommendations and action plans to improve productivity, based on periodic statistical information and trend analysis.
  • Keep updated information on server assets (HW and SW) and configurations.
  • In the case of business needs or requirements, server administrators will be able to provide communications and network management support.
  • Coordinate and monitor the server infrastructure in each of the dependencies according to the procedures and service levels committed to the client.
  • Coordinate and control the correct and timely execution of work on the servers, related to implementation services, technical support and administration.
  • Keep updated the procedures of attention of requirements, defined by mutual agreement with the client.
  • Compliance with the policies and procedures defined for the administration of servers and services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in: Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or Careers related to Information Technology.
  • Certificación ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Certificación Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
  • Proven experience of 5.5 years in server administration in Windows and Linux environments.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in: Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or Careers related to Information Technology.
  • Certificación ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Certificación Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
  • Proven experience of 5.5 years in server administration in Windows and Linux environments.
