Leads and is accountable for the planning function across area of responsibility.
Accountable for ensuring that projects and tenders within portfolios are effectively planned, scheduled and monitored.
Leads the deployment and implementation of the business' planning and project controls procedures across portfolio.
Responsible for the planning on larger or more complex projects, minor business units or parts of larger business units.

You'll be responsible for:

Advising on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
Managing planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.
Overseeing planning/scheduling, EVM, project controls methodologies

Supporting senior management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence and other business development.
Directing the planning team and provides leadership and direction through managers/team.
Inspiring and empowering individuals within their portfolio to deliver high quality standards and outputs.
Undertaking tasks required to full fill the requirements of the project/assignment.
Providing performance management, technical and career development and coaching.
Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have:

An ability to work in Spanish and English
Expert knowledge of schedule management tools and software.
Mastery in setting up effective planning/schedule, management systems and procedures.
Able to manage activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
Multi-industry construction experience.
Experience developing and maintaining effective communication and collaborative relationships with client/s and other project stakeholders (internal and external).
Experience managing and resolving any actual or potential conflicts with the client or project stakeholders.
Experience building and leading a high performing team/s.
Ability to look to future to create a vision and set strategy.
Experience spotting, developing and coaching talented individuals.
Ability to promotes the business and winning work.
Ability to persuade and influence colleagues.
Degree (or equivalent) with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the construction, programme, project or commercial management disciplines.

You'll also have:

Excellent attention to detail and ability to validate and check schedule management inputs, recording and reports produced, providing commentary and analysis.
Large scale, high value projects.
Experience developing internal connections.
Experience identifying and analysing business risks.
Professional qualification such as a chartered/registered member of a relevant institution accreditation from recognised industry body (e.g APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA).
