The Role

As a Squad Leader, you'll drive a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals, entrusted with delivering state-of-the-art solutions and pioneering initiatives that will chart the future of Kyndryl.

Your role as a Squad Leader extends beyond traditional leadership. You'll be the go-to-expert in your technology and service domain – guiding, motivating, and mentoring your squad to ensure the seamless delivery of services and initiatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams is paramount to achieving our business objectives and transforming requirements into strategic opportunities.

You will be at the forefront of service quality – dedicated to ensuring that your team not only meets but exceeds customer expectations while adhering to relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Managing escalations, engaging with customers, optimizing workflows and priorities, and efficiently handling backlogs will be second nature to you. You'll run Agile ceremonies – driving improvement in our delivery processes. Your determination to enhance squad outcomes is the catalyst for success.

As a Squad Leader, you'll be the bridge between business requirements and innovative solutions. Through close collaboration with stakeholders, you'll gain profound insights into their needs and translate them into strategies that push the boundaries of what's achievable. You will be the champion for continuous improvement, and your end-to-end ownership of your technology and service domain will empower you to transform business requirements into the opportunities that drive Kyndryl forward.

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Skills and Experience

1. 3 years of experience leading projects for the assigned accounts.
2. Experience in high-availability testing and disaster recovery.
3. Experience in management and control using tools for monitoring and control (Dashboards, reports, etc.).
4. 7 years of experience in the administration of technology infrastructure covering the following areas:
   1. Backup Platforms, Disaster Recovery.
   2. High Availability Infrastructure.
   3. Patch and Vulnerability Management.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with all corporate guidelines from Kyndryl and the client.
2. Monitor and effectively track SLAs and contractual indicators.
3. Foster smooth and effective communication with delivery teams, ensuring teamwork.
4. Identify gaps in technical and soft skills within the team, and collaborate with the manager to define and execute action plans aimed at strengthening and developing competencies.

Leadership Skills:

1. Proven ability in leadership positions, managing teams and/or projects, regardless of structure or area (tower).
2. Effective communication: Ability to convey ideas and guidelines clearly and persuasively.
3. Quick and accurate decision-making under pressure.
4. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges and constant change.
5. Proactive attitude to identify improvement opportunities, constantly seeking ways to optimize processes, resources, and results.
6. Focus on continuous improvement, both personally and within the team.
7. Promotion of inclusion, integration, and respect within the team, fostering a culture of diversity and cooperation at all levels.

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related technical field
2. Certifications: ITIL V3 or 4, Scrum, Cloud (Desired)
