**The Role**
This role is a key role within Seequent and reports directly to the Country Manager, Peru & Chile. The role is responsible for the Account management of a portfolio of accounts, and building a partnership relationship with each of them, based on the value of the solutions Seequent can provide to solve the customers business needs, today and for tomorrow. The role will achieve success through personal proficiency in account management and the co-ordination of a wider supporting team (eg Project Geologist and Geophysicist). This is a relationship, business and strategic role, and will require a strong handle on business trends in the industry through planning, market analysis, CRM, industry conferences, and community building events.
As an Account Executive, based in **Lima, Peru** the role will be responsible for the strategic growth of our existing customer account relationships, enhancing and broadening the connections those relationships offer for the Seequent solutions to help them to overcome the business and technical challenges they face. Key in this is the ability to create and foster multiple-level of relationships with key influencers and decision makers. Being a customer focused expert is essential in this role and being genuinely curious and interested in the needs of our customers is an account manager’s bread and butter. Success will come from being a complex problem solver who can turn the customer’s business problem into an opportunity to offer a viable solution that is future-proof.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Identify and create opportunities through proactively communicating with our existing users and potential new users
- Support customers actively throughout the entire account lifecycle
- Travel to meetings with customers may take 25- 30% of your time
- Have an understanding of the value proposition of Seequent solutions and be aware of the benefits and value statements and roadmap
- Build customer intimacy by frequent and close interaction, to learn from the customer in regards to how, what, where and why they are using our product and then feeding back that information to the appropriate teams within the business and recording this within the CRM
- Be responsible for keeping in contact with existing customers, potential customers, understanding marketing goals, product roadmaps, development timelines and business goals
- Actively monitor customer satisfaction levels and consistently working to improve outcomes and perceptions
**In order to be successful in this role, you should have**:
- 5+ years proven account management experience
- Degree in Business/Commerce or other similar
- Strategic Account planning capability
- Customer focused attitude, with the desire to always achieve a positive outcome for the customer
- The ability to easily communicate in Spanish and English. Fluency in Portuguese is a plus
- Innovative, open and able to work in a fast growing, fast paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM and analytical tools will be a prerequisite
- Geo experience or domain experience in Mining, Civil, Energy or Environment is an asset
- Experience selling complex B2B technical solutions
