Senior Business Analyst

Work at the direction of the Product Owner to gain understanding of the vision and value proposition of the project
- Capture detailed documentation of current and future state processes, data elements, rules, and desired outcomes
- Guide team members through the process of designing solutions that deliver expected business value. Listen closely to stakeholder needs, develop thoughtful recommendations, and effectively explain your rationale in order to steer the team towards an optimal solution.
- Craft high quality user stories that effectively capture the business’ and users’ needs, the designed solution, acceptance criteria and expected value. Participate in story grooming and sprint planning to ensure the voice of the business is represented.
- Contribute to project scoping and sizing discussions by supporting the formation of project roadmaps, sizing estimates, user story maps, and other project baseline artifacts, as requested by project leadership.
- Work closely with technical resources to ensure that business needs and expected value are understood by the entire team and that developers and testers have the vision and information that they need to deliver high quality solutions.
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Detail oriented and able to track multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum project methodologies
- Able to rapidly understand complex business topics and processes
- Clear and effective written and oral communication
- Able to effectively facilitate meetings
- Detail focused, well organized self-starter who is comfortable with transparency and feedback
- Not deterred by the need to continually and rapidly learn
