About the role

To support the G Adventures Operations team by assisting the CEO Managers with all reporting field staff and relevant processes to ensure a high level of performance and a successful tour operation from start to finish.

This includes assisting all administration related to Field Staff and all aspects of their performance management.

**Responsibilities**:
Leadership- Assist with all the Field Staff programs and initiatives.- Act as an ambassador and role model of the G Adventures core values.- Assist in fostering a culture of Collaboration and Innovation through ongoing brainstorming and other sessions with CEOs- Assist in preparing the information for quarterly CEO performance reviews.- Ensure CEOs/Field Staff are added to their Trip Channel and that all communication related to the trip is communicated through this way.

Administration- Responsible for preparing, management review (CEO Manager & ROM), and uploading of the Field Staff schedule.- Perform all administrative duties related to the onboarding of new and returning Field Staff: creation of profile in systems, contract, First Aid Certificate, Background check, etc.Financial- Supporting finance with review and approval of tour expenses, taking on these duties where necessary.- Process Field Staff Payroll.- Review and Approval of flights and accommodation in between trips for Field Staff as per Fiscal Year budget.

Commercial- Work closely with the product development, sales, and operations team to review existing Field Staff feedback to aid in innovation and product enhancement.

Travelers- Assist and help reg Health and safety of travelers and tour staff.- Assist in CEO related complaint resolution. Communicate efficiently with the Brands and the ops team on complaints to deliver appropriate solutions- Support where required during times of emergencies, ensuring field ops, suppliers and the appropriate Brands are notified and kept updated with all pertinent information.- Carry the emergency phone as required in rotation with others.

Multi-brand- Assist in ensuring the G Adventures brand and other client brands are properly represented throughout the region.- Work with managers to ensure recruitment, training, and performance management is tailored to meet the needs of various brands.

Desired Skills and Experience

Must Have:
- Computer skills- Highly proficient in English both written and spoken- 3+ years experience in the travel industry- Familiarity with Regional Geography- Excellent Customer Service and Listening Skills- Problem Solving/Complaint Resolution- Decision Making Skills- Team Player, Flexible, Co-operative Approach- Self Motivated and Goal orientated- Excellent Attention to Detail, Well Organized- Positive and Innovative Attitude- Good time management skills

Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of G Adventures product in the region- Experience of coordination with remote teams- Vocational Qualification related to Travel & Tourism/Business
