This position reports directly to the Head of Service & Solutions and will primarily operate in the Trujillo area, focusing mainly on fieldwork. The role requires up to 80% field services and 20% administrative work (home office). Relocation for this position is not supported; therefore, qualified candidates must reside in Trujillo and have authorization to work in Peru without assistance.

What is the job about?

The Service Field Technician is responsible for executing repair and maintenance work as agreed with the customer. They ensure customer satisfaction in the assigned market, are technically accountable, and work autonomously or together with ASP to address customer requests efficiently and professionally.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Conduct risk assessments for each task.
2. Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble pumps and related systems in the field.
3. Advise customers on system shortcomings and provide solutions to prevent issues.
4. Assist the manager with service and warranty matters, consulting technical support as needed.
5. Prepare and submit detailed service reports on time, including warranty claims and working hours.
6. Support project execution, including installation and commissioning.
7. Perform agreed maintenance services and service level agreements.
8. Provide relevant feedback to stakeholders, including sales and service teams.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

1. Technical education in electrical or mechanical engineering.
2. 2 years of industry experience in a similar position, performing field repairs and providing technical support and troubleshooting.
3. Experience with pump technology, motors, mechanics, hydraulics, and electric or electronic devices.
4. SAP experience preferred.
5. Ability to work with processes or projects within the service environment.
