Responsibilities - Lead teams focused on consumer application development. - Build scalable backend services, or manage cross-platform mobile development in React Native. - Work with at least two technologies from our stack: - Backend: Java, Go, MySQL, Redis - Frontend: React Native (JavaScript / TypeScript), Java, Objective-C, React - Unity: C# - Provide hands-on technical leadership (30-40% hands-on). - Hire, retain, and develop engineers. - Build relationships and influence stakeholders across disciplines: - Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Manage risks and develop mitigation plans. - Work with Product Leadership to develop and track schedules, dependencies, and critical paths. Qualifications - 6 - 8 or more years of software development experience with prior experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. - Proven experience leading high-performing teams. - Experience working with Unity or other game engines. - Experience with relational and non-relational databases. - Platform as a Service (PaaS) experience.
