Job Summary:

Sales and Marketing Operations Specialists are key players in driving marketing and sales initiatives to support district execution for Electric Rope Shovel & Dragline Product Lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Services Revenue growth by collaborating with district teams to deploy lead management, digital marketing, and sales effectiveness for Electric Rope Shovel & Dragline Product Lines.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge to advise districts and dealers on process improvements in areas like customer management, retail transformation, and customer onboarding.
  • Monitor dealer performance and work with districts to develop improvement action plans and gap resolution initiatives.
  • Provide active support to districts in resolving problems related to business plan execution, operational improvement, and target achievement.
  • Manage all parts opportunities, including serviceable and non-serviceable, discontinued, ETO, and outage/shutdown parts in CRM tool.
  • Analyze commercial requirements of RFQs and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with dealers to coordinate outage/shutdown planning processes for all DGL and ERS in territory.
  • Offer strategic insights to inform commercial decisions.
  • Lead internal bid processes within Caterpillar, initiating the OTO process or applying sales variance when necessary.
  • Support the development of Customer Value Agreements where relevant.
  • Negotiate with dealers.
  • Support dealer demand planning processes.

Requirements:

  • Customer Focus: Prioritize customer needs and satisfaction in business decisions.
  • Effective Communications: Apply effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques to convey and receive ideas and information.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize approaches, tools, and techniques to recognize, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, or process problems.
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, monitor, and control projects efficiently to achieve objectives.
  • Value Selling: Provide product/service value and differentiate support offerings addressing clear customer needs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in the industry (construction and mining).
  • English Pre-Advanced.
  • Experience with mining customers.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Basic Portuguese skills.
  • Experience working with Caterpillar Dealers.
  • Technical expertise in Electric Rope shovels and Draglines.
  • Strong planning and forecasting skills.

This role may require 50% travel.
