We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Communications Specialist to join our team in Lima, Peru. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that is committed to advancing gender equality and social inclusion.
About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented visual communications specialist to contribute to the production of compelling social media campaigns and communication materials for our partner DEMUS. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and producing graphics and audiovisual content, as well as providing support for Demus' communication activities on social media and in collaboration with partners.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality graphics and audiovisual content for social media campaigns and communication initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials for important occasions.
- Provide support for Demus' communication activities on social media, as well as in collaboration with partners in different regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communication, advertising, journalism or other creative fields.
- Proficient in design and audiovisual tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere or other video editing programs.
- Experience and/or studies related to feminism, gender and human rights are considered an asset.
- Able to handle digital image cropping and utilize graphic manuals and templates.
- Proficient in managing Twitter, WordPress, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
What We Offer
Cuso International offers a competitive salary package, including a modest monthly living allowance, accommodation while in placement, medical health insurance, round-trip airfare and visa/work permit costs, pre-placement training, in-country orientation and reintegration debriefing, support while in placement through Cuso International's country program office and local partners, access to employee assistance program, support to meet fundraising goals, and a bonus: additional return flight home or cash in lieu after 12 months of service for volunteers who extend for another 6 months.
