Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Architect Professional to join our team at Planate Management Group LLC.

The Consultant Architect role is a part-time, on-call position responsible for meeting with clients and gathering project information. Key responsibilities include conducting site surveys, creating procedural designs, ensuring compliance with international and local codes, and coordinating resolution of issues with the design manager and team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the Client's Program of Requirements as per RFP and other provided information.
  • Review applicable statutes, regulations, codes, and by-laws, coordinating with authorities having jurisdiction when necessary.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with integrated teams of architects, engineers, planners, and interior designers.
  • Attend project kick-off meetings and site investigations, aiding client engagement to obtain necessary reports.
  • Conduct building assessments and provide detailed reports based on code compliance and client needs.
  • Review scopes of work, specifications, and plans to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Comply with the design process to resolve outstanding design issues and act as a solution consultant.
  • Provide input for the development and implementation of design and construction standards.
  • Review and provide comments on design phases, ensuring solutions meet client requirements.
  • Provide basic drawings including sketches, 2D and 3D drawings, and construction documents.
  • Provide signed and sealed construction drawings and specifications for assigned projects.
  • Act as a representative of Planate during project construction meetings.
  • Validate contractor's mark-ups and changes applicable to the drawings post-construction.
  • Provide project-related services, including securing necessary approvals and permits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Design Manager.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed architect with extensive experience in planning and development for recapitalization programs. You should also have knowledge of office automation systems and software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

  • Must be a licensed Architect.

  • At least 12 years of experience in planning and development for recapitalization programs.
  • Extensive experience in engineering concepts and terminology related to architecture and project management.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
