**IT HELPDESK SUPPORT SPECIALIST**
PPS is a company that provides numerous off-shore services to our stateside affiliates (law firms). It specializes in offering workforce solutions backed by strong technological systems and a team focused on helping the final client. We focus on providing pre-litigation and discovery assistance in the form of case progression analysis and documentary support.
We are looking for a dynamic, flexible go-getter to support our IT team for our multi-national company. This is an in-person role and the expected start time in the office will follow our UK office start time. The main responsibility will be to provide support for IT (Information Technology) needs including responding to helpdesk tickets (with emphasis on more complicated tickets) and training employees on software, hardware, and policies.
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Resolve day-to-day helpdesk issues in a timely manner and provide regular updates to stakeholders on their support requests
- Own the firmwide backup processes with daily monitoring and regular reporting out
- Assist IT Director in monitoring assigned helpdesk tickets
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness of helpdesk activity by analyzing and proposing recommendations for improvement
- Review workstation implementation
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Update IT documentation as needed and follow policies and procedures
- Provide desktop, laptop, and printer support
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Network Server
- Must have solid helpdesk support experience with Windows 10, Office Suite, Active Directory, Exchange
- Active Directory administration experience necessary (Password reset, Security Groups, GPO)
- Organize and manage IT physical hardware inventory and assist with logistics
- General knowledge of Virus/Malware/Spyware diagnosis and removal techniques
- Must be able to read, analyze, follow, and interpret procedures, manuals, policies, vendor
- Experience with remote access support (VPN, Terminal Services)
- Strong English skills are necessary.
- IT related degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience preferrable
