The Project:
Peru education infrastructure programme.

This is a PMO and programme management opportunity to construct, rebuild and redevelop over 70 schools in Lima and across the country, with a value of almost US$1bn.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Positioning, promoting and protecting the Mace brand in relation to health, safety and wellbeing.
- Assisting with the development, management and implementation of agreed processes and procedures through the relevant areas and its supply chain in accordance with policies, principles and standards.
- Managing functional elements of the operational health, safety and wellbeing function into an efficient, effective and cohesive team.
- Working collaboratively with the assurance function in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
- Issuing timely and effective escalation of non-compliance issues they are unable to influence or achieve a satisfactory conclusion.
- Enabling the assessment, management and mitigation of risk in accordance with regulation and good practice.
- Ensuring compliance with the sector specific HS&W training plan and KPI’s agreed with or assigned by the consultancy sector SLT.
- Developing and promoting succession planning and identifies career development activities for their HS&W team.
- Contributes to the development of and drive the implementation of health and wellbeing (H&W) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards.
- Responsible for execution of Group-wide delivery plans, programmes and projects ensuring delivery to planned time and budget.
- Provides support and guidance to the operational business to enable local delivery.
- Collaborates with HR and (health safety and wellbeing) HSW functions to enable them to support their clients across all groups and geographies.
- Remains up to date with the latest thinking and research relating to organisational health and wellbeing.
- Analyses data outputs from surveys, audits, key performance indicators (KPI’s) and other data sources and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manages relationships and performance of suppliers ensuring contractual arrangements are delivered to quality, time and budget. Work with senior leaders, HSW and HR stakeholders to deliver cost effective and efficient H&W performance.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have:

- H&W legislation and delivery relevant to their area of work.
- Current health and wellbeing issues and trends
- Supporting and developing team members’ H&W competency.
- Being able to network and share information and knowledge gained.
- Understanding of intersection between health and wellbeing, inclusion, and health and safety and wellbeing (HSW).
- Being able to present a range of technical information to non-technical audiences.

You’ll Also Have:

- Professional qualification (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience of management in an organisation.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
