This senior level position is responsible for overseeing the FX trading book and managing risk for the product. The overall objective of this role is to ensure book trades deliver on budgeted revenues, and to coordinate with key stakeholders to develop the trading franchise while complying with all applicable policies, regulations and procedures. - Lead Peru FX trading franchise as the senior trader responsible for pricing and risk management of the books - Execute Citibank's FX trading strategy in Peru which includes responsibility of the FX spot, forwards and NDF books that serve both local and offshore activity. - Ensure all trading activity is within all applicable local regulatory and corporate risk limits and in full compliance with our policies and procedures specially around trading Conduct. - Responsible for USDPEN core pricing and distribution strategy through the different channels and actively working to further develop pricing and curve construction models for the currency. - Collaborate actively with Corporate and Investors sales teams, Capital Markets, and the broader organization to ensure Peru is positioned as one of the top FX trading franchises. - Personally establish and maintain key relationships. - Responsible for developing the desk analysts as needed focused on mentoring junior talent. - Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure - In-depth knowledge of respective products and clients - Proven history of successful trading book management - Required licensing and registrations as applicable - Advance analytical and numerical competency - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication - Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Ability to analyze and pitch situations and determine suitable counterparties - Knowledge of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol, closing technicalities - 5 years in a related role - **Job Family Group**: Institutional Trading - **Job Family**: Trading - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
