The Opportunity
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking commercial lead to join our established and growing team in Peru.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Reporting to the commercial director.
- Managing work orders
- Supporting the management of the contract and commercial matters, invoicing and programme financial management.
- Supporting the commercial director on contractual discussions with the client, including financial reporting and contract management.
- Supporting management of financial controls and reporting.
- Updating billing and invoicing processes.
- Delivering track record on a range of infrastructure projects.
- Tracking record of commercial management and procurement on major projects.
About You
You have a BSc in construction or similar construction/project management based vocational degree. You have knowledge of procurement of works from initial PIN notice through to contract award. You have experience in NEC3 contracts forms and process. You have experience and knowledge in management of tender process including preparation of documents, tendering and contract award. You have experience in a range of project controls services such as risk management, cost/commercial management and schedule.
You have good administration skills. You have good communication skills, both written and oral. You have knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. It is desired that you have knowledge of UK and EU legal framework, including health and safety regulations, contract law, environment and building regulations. It is desired that you have knowledge of key project processes such as design principals and management, construction sequence and processes, procurement and tendering.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams. You are a self-motivated individual. You have a high degree of integrity. You are able to listen and be empathic to others challenges and perceived problems. You are confident presenting to outside parties, new colleagues, clients and contractors. You will be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
