Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report. **Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant (WTP)**: Located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru, Yanacocha is South America’s largest gold mine. The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (the West one with capacity of 3,000 m3/hour and the East one with 2,700 m3/hour). Early works are currently being performed on site, preparing the permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants, in addition to the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule and Execution Plan. **Job Summary**: The position will be responsible for performing Logistics duties of basic and moderate complexity in support of project requirements to ensure the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project requirements. This role will report to the project Logistics Supervisor as well as functional reporting to Bechtel Global Logistics (BGL). **Major Responsibilities**: - Coordinating shipments with requisite internal and external entities ensuring the safe and timely delivery of materials and equipment from supplier’s delivery point to jobsite. - Ensuring timely entry of shipment milestone data into Bechtel Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) system providing visibility of line item shipment status. - Assisting with filing and resolution of LSP claims. - Assisting with preparation of logistics studies including site and LSP facility visits. - Integrating safety requirements and measuring in all Logistics activities. - Planning, developing, coordinating and reviewing Procurement work within a discipline on projects. - Coordinating and interfacing with the day-to-day work of project team members and discipline groups and assisting the project Logistics Supervisor as requested. - Accumulating and maintaining data for reporting group metrics and performing due diligence surveys as requested. - Providing on-the-job training to Procurement specialists as required. Bechtel and Supply Chain instructions, policies, and procedures. **Education and Experience Requirements**: Requires bachelor’s in Business, Commerce, Logistics, or related degrees (or international equivalent) and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. **Required Knowledge and Skills**: - Related training and 5 years of relevant experience. - Bechtel Logistics procedures (Supply Chain College). - BGL corporate agreements.
