Senior Consultant and Consulting Director (ASIA)

Cutter Associates supports the global investment management industry by combining three complementary services: Consulting, Research, and Benchmarking. We have ongoing relationships with hundreds of asset managers, asset owners, and asset servicers. Cutter currently has offices in Boston, London, and Sydney, expanding into Asia.

**Qualifications**
- You will have six years or more experience in investment management. Prior consulting experience is preferred. You will have been a business analyst or a team member in one or more of the following areas: and as a Director you will have 10 years of experience in the industry and have been a project manager or a team lead in a department in one or more of the following areas:_
- **Front-office** processes and systems that help with trade generation, order management, trade communications, portfolio management, exposure management and research management.
- **Operations** processes and systems such as trade settlement, collateral management, derivative management, corporate actions, reconciliations, cash management and portfolio accounting.
- System selection and optimal sourcing approaches leveraging service providers or vendor managed services
- **Investment Performance and Risk **processes and systems that help with performance measurement, asset class specific and multi
- asset attribution, risk measurement, and GIPs reporting.
- **Data** management, governance, architecture, and data analytics reporting supporting investment management using systems such as Snowflake, Data warehouses, Service Provider data solutions and BI Tools.
- **Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance **processes such as compliance, proxy voting, and vendor management.

**Responsibilities**

- Act as an expert in multiple systems and functional areas.
- Successfully complete projects by meeting client goals, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Support delivery of vendor selection and searches for systems and services where appropriate.
- Assist with implementing data governance for data domains; design business nomenclature, taxonomy, and business glossaries.
- Work within client implementation teams as a project manager to lead the delivery of systems and/or transition to a new service provider. Provide project oversight, governance, stakeholder / vendor management and reporting to monitor delivery to business objectives.
- Work within client delivery teams as solution architect, developer or data integration specialist to implement solutions or service providers into the clients ecosystem

- Act as an expert in multiple systems and functional areas.
- Interface with and may maintain ongoing relationships with client team leads.
- Successfully complete projects by meeting client goals, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Perform vendor selection and searches for systems and services where appropriate.
- Assist with implementing data governance for data domains; design business nomenclature, taxonomy, and business glossaries.
- Able to lead small projects.
- Work within client implementation teams as a project or program manager to lead the delivery of systems and/or transition to a new service provider. Provide project oversight, governance, stakeholder / vendor management and reporting to monitor delivery to business objectives.
- Work within client delivery teams as solution architect, developer or data integration specialist to implement solutions or service providers into the clients ecosystem
- Gather, analyze, and document the current state organizational structure, business processes, data, and technology architectures using a variety of methods (documentation, interviews, surveys, workshops) to identify their issues and challenges.
