**Real Estate Bookkeeper

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate financial records for our real estate portfolio, including rent collections, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform regular financial audits to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for property management and investment projects.
- Coordinate with property managers and external accountants to ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax requirements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Provide financial analysis and support for investment decisions and property acquisitions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and real estate accounting practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
