** 2 days per week in office.
The Opportunity:
The Data Architect will design complete and sophisticated data solutions. Will define, data specifications, data exchange among components, and systemic properties for data technology compatibility. Will define and maintain Metadata Architecture i.e., data taxonomies and data models. Will adhere to best practices of Cloud data architecture and data engineering techniques.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, distributed on premise and cloud-based services for behavioral healthcare data analytics solutions.
- Provide comprehensive, expertise, collaboration, and technical support to data engineering/analytics teams, including hands-on efforts, to ensure that the proposed data architectures are viable and have successful rollouts.
- Analyze complex functional and non-functional data requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management.
- Carry out performance analysis of existing and proposed data solutions against difficult-to-achieve performance requirements.
- Define and support data architecture models and write the necessary code, frameworks, and documentation to distribute to the technical community to leverage in technical solutions.
- Work with business stakeholders to ensure business vision and requirements are addressed correctly.
- Effectively communicate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct evaluation of new data technology platforms and components.
- Create and participate in the establishment of reference data architecture and data models.
- Oversee the implementation of data platform improvements and business projects.
Skills we need:
- Advanced English level.
- Experience as a Data Engineer and Data Architect, working in Data Development within complex and multiplatform distributed environments.
- Knowledge of CDC tools.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud-based platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, DMS, Debezium, MSK preferred.
- Experience in a wide variety of data storage technologies, from RDBMS to NoSQL.
- Experience with enterprise data warehouse technologies including Snowflake. (Desirable)
- Ideal knowledge of writing code with Python.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) preferred or deep knowledge about Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBoK2) framework.
