Role Overview

We are hiring a
Trade Infrastructure Policy Consultant
to contribute to research and advisory work focused on port performance, regional trade integration, and supply chain modernization. The role involves technical research, comparative policy review, and stakeholder engagement support—especially in the context of Latin America's Pacific-facing trade architecture.

This position is suited for professionals with experience in trade governance, infrastructure analysis, or public policy, who are comfortable working across regional datasets and institutional frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on port competitiveness, logistics corridors, and customs modernization
  • Draft technical notes and policy briefs for regional development partners and public agencies
  • Analyze regulatory frameworks, trade facilitation protocols, and supply chain bottlenecks
  • Interpret infrastructure performance indicators and provide strategic input for reform initiatives
  • Track developments in regional trade policy, economic integration efforts, and port modernization programs
  • Support preparation of presentations, executive summaries, and stakeholder engagement materials

Qualifications

  • Degree in International Trade, Infrastructure Policy, Economics, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in trade policy research, public sector consulting, or infrastructure strategy
  • Familiarity with Latin American trade corridors, port sector institutions, and regional integration processes
  • Strong analytical and writing skills; ability to convert technical findings into clear, policy-relevant insights
