**WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER**:
As the Future Landscapes Peru Country Lead, you will oversee and manage the project “Implementation and Financing of Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) by the Food and Agriculture Sector to reduce climate risk and environmental impacts in Latin America - Future Landscapes” in Peru, providing technical leadership and directing and implementing actions management and stewardship. Your responsibilities include the coordination with TNC Peru and regional teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of the project in Peru. Externally you will engage with the government, corporations, and non-profits organizations to advocate the Future Landscape Project and the Regenerative Ranching and Agriculture Strategy in Peru. You will provide leadership in program management, technical support, and relationship management with key partners. Developing, in coordination with the TNC Peru team, the country's Regenerative Agriculture Program aligned with regional and global strategies, designing proposals for reaching conservation and sustainability goals.
You'll work closely with the Future Landscapes regional team and consortium partners.
You will report to the Peru Director.

**WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU**:
The Future Landscapes Peru Country Lead will be responsible for oversee and manage the Future Landscapes project in Peru, providing technical leadership and directing and implementing actions management and stewardship.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
- Lead the Future Landscape Project in Peru, including program management, technical support, and relationship management with key partners.
- Contribute to consolidate the theory of change and the implementation plan for regenerative ranching and agriculture in Peru to deliver effective and scalable impact, considering aspects of protection, provision of regenerative products, and climate-related issues.
- Lead and support the external engagement with the government, corporations, and non-profits organizations to advocate the Future Landscape Project and the Regenerative Ranching and Agriculture Strategy in Peru.
- Supervise consultants and ensure the quality and timely delivery of consultant products.
- Manage subaward agreements with local partners, ensuring the completion of activities and adherence to the schedule.
- Responsible for ensuring that public and private funds are raised to meet program needs developing proposals aligned with conservation and sustainability goals.
- Coordinate the technical planning for in-person and virtual regional meetings, workshops, and committees for the Future Landscape Project in Peru
- Attend meetings for follow-up and execution of the Future Landscape Project.
- Supervise the narratives in preparation for interim semi-annual reports, and coordinate the elaboration of progress reports, in collaboration with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) specialist and LAR team.
- Manage multi-disciplinary administrative and professional staff, with responsibility of performance management, training, and career development. Establish clear directions and set stretch objectives for the program execution.
- Establish and maintain optimal standards of performance for the program while controlling costs and administering budgets.
- Review technical deliverables for quality control and alignment with program objectives.
- Perform duties under general supervision and established guidelines.
- Make day-to-day decisions within the scope of work assignments and prioritize work independently.
- Manages and maintains electronic shared files and folders (BOX).
- Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information.
- Be willing to travel, work overtime, and work evenings and weekends as needed; and
- Fieldwork may involve some exposure to disagreeable elements and physical exertion and/or strain.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:

- Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, agroecology or natural resources management and 5 years’ experience in agricultural or conservation project management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience and knowledge and experience in social, economic and value chain aspects.
