**What's the Role**:
As our **Procurement Business Partner**, your purpose is to ensure that procurement activities are executed seamlessly in alignment with Bradken's strategy, policies, and frameworks. You'll be instrumental in driving efficiency, compliance, and value across our procurement processes, ultimately contributing to our mission of advancing society sustainably. By fostering positive relationships, facilitating collaboration, and championing continuous improvement, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of procurement at Bradken.
As part of your responsibilities and challenges, you will:
- Act as the primary liaison for procurement, fostering relationships among sites, vendors, and Procurement at a regional level.
- Champion operational site needs within Procurement, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and providing Category Management guidance.
- Lead regional sourcing and contract development, negotiating terms and pricing methodology/strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance contract conditions and supplier relationships.
- Advocate for operational site needs within Procurement, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and provide Category Management guidance at the regional level.
**Key Relationships**:
You'll build strong relationships internally and with suppliers, ensuring alignment with Bradken's strategy. Collaborating closely with teams, you'll drive business performance and streamline procurement processes, optimizing efficiency. Through vendor engagement and automation, you'll enhance procurement practices, contributing to cost optimization and quality delivery.
**Key Technical Criteria**:
- Under/Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, or related discipline desired.
- CIPSA "Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply or similar qualification.
- Experience in Supply Chain in a heavy manufacturing organization.
- Experience across the entire Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contract/account management, including compliance monitoring and reviews.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Influential negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP, Microsoft Office suite, and Procurement software.
**This role is based in Chilca, Peru.**
