Responsibilities:

The Strategic Architect Professional will be responsible for reviewing the Client's Program of Requirements as per RFP and other provided information. They will also review applicable statutes, regulations, codes, and by-laws, coordinating with authorities having jurisdiction when necessary.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and collaborating with integrated teams of architects, engineers, planners, and interior designers, attending project kick-off meetings and site investigations, aiding client engagement to obtain necessary reports, conducting building assessments and providing detailed reports based on code compliance and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the Client's Program of Requirements as per RFP and other provided information.
  • Review applicable statutes, regulations, codes, and by-laws, coordinating with authorities having jurisdiction when necessary.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with integrated teams of architects, engineers, planners, and interior designers.
  • Attend project kick-off meetings and site investigations, aiding client engagement to obtain necessary reports.
  • Conduct building assessments and provide detailed reports based on code compliance and client needs.
  • Review scopes of work, specifications, and plans to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Comply with the design process to resolve outstanding design issues and act as a solution consultant.
  • Provide input for the development and implementation of design and construction standards.
  • Review and provide comments on design phases, ensuring solutions meet client requirements.
  • Provide basic drawings including sketches, 2D and 3D drawings, and construction documents.
  • Provide signed and sealed construction drawings and specifications for assigned projects.
  • Act as a representative of Planate during project construction meetings.
  • Validate contractor's mark-ups and changes applicable to the drawings post-construction.
  • Provide project-related services, including securing necessary approvals and permits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Design Manager.
