This is a remote position.
Evercam increases construction productivity by improving project visibility and team communications. To do this, we build tools that capture the big picture, surface the relevant details, and encourage collaboration. In short, we’re here to be useful.
Founded in 2010, Evercam has now grown to a team of 100+ staff in over 10 countries supporting customers across the globe.
**The Role**
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely customer feedback, and support the roll-out of new installations, amongst other duties. The role requires engaging directly with customers, communicating with other internal stakeholders, and you will be expected to create and maintain well written documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication is a must.
The role will be fully remote.
**Technical Support Responsibilities**:
- Identifying hardware and software solutions.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults.
- Resolving network issues.
- Provide remote guidance for Installing and configuring hardware and software.
- Speaking to customers to get to the root of their problem quickly.
- Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
- Talking to customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
- Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
- Supporting the roll-out of updates and other maintenance tasks.
- Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
- Managing multiple cases at one time.
**Requirements**:
**Technical Support Requirements: Essential**
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Degree in computer science or information technology.
- Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of CCTV/IP cameras
**Desirable**
- In-Depth knowledge of Networking Concepts (DNS, DDNS, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or others is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
**Training**
On-the-job training will be provided with access to online training material to help you gain in-demand skills so you can grow as you go with multiple learning tracks such as NETWORK+, LINUX+, CCNA, and more.
