Coolbet is searching for a** Compliance Officer** in Peru In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of compliance -staying up-to-date with iGaming regulations, providing guidance, maintaining licenses, updating policies, and reporting to the Board when needed. Plus, you’ll serve as our main contact for SBS and MINCETUR.
This part-time, fully remote role is perfect for a lawyer or consultant seeking flexibility, with around 10 hours per week. **A Sneak Peek into Your Role**:
- Staying updated on iGaming regulations and ensuring compliance with local law.
- Providing guidance on compliance issues for various project.
- Assisting in maintaining iGaming licenses in Peru.
- Preparing and delivering the Compliance Officer Report to the Chairman of the Board as require.
- Reviewing and updating policies to meet current standard.
- Executing assigned tasks efficiently, responsibly, and punctual.
- Adhering to the duties, obligations, and requirements outlined in Peruvian law for the Compliance Officer role.
- Acting as the main contact person for the SBS and MINCETUR.
**You’re good at**:
- A university degree in law or business is required, with a preference for legal education; qualifications in related fields may also be considered.
- At least 1 year of experience in compliance, AML, law, or regulated markets; experience in the online gaming or gambling sector is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and make confident decisions after adjusting to the role.
- Strong communication abilities for an international business environment.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
