Marketing Specialist

**Job Advertisement**:
Boart Longyear is hiring for a new **Marketing Specialist** in Lima offices. This position will work in the Global Marketing Manager collaborating with cross-functional global marketing and product management teams, as well as coordinating projects and activities with internal groups and external suppliers.

**Primary Duties**
- Coordinate marketing activities to support the global marketing team in planning and executing large trade shows, social media activities, and content marketing outreach programs.
- Design, place and track visual posts for social media including You Tube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and a Company blog.
- Design and Production of Literature, including Catalogues, Brochures, and Print Advertising
- Management and updating of public website and commerce platform
- Work with vendors for the production and distribution of promotional and branded materials (swag).
- Ensure all marketing and communications materials comply with the Company’s brand guidelines.
- Fulfill internal requests for marketing materials and other administrative tasks.
- Liaise with suppliers to order necessary services, ship materials, process, and track invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Experience**:

- Five to Ten years of hands-on professional marketing experience.
- Familiarity with enterprise social media platforms and management software such as Hootsuite and Sprout.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, or experience in the creating and distributing marketing and communication pieces.
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
- Trade show coordination and support experience.
- Strong project coordination skill-set.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally on multiple projects at a time.
- Research skills and ability to analyze and consolidate information.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Excellent communication and writing skills in Spanish and English.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of image editing and page layout software programs (Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Illustrator).
