Asset Management – Investment – Research Analyst

Role Description:

As a Research Analyst within the Asset Management and Investment division, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of investment strategies through rigorous financial analysis, market research, and data-driven insights. You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and senior analysts to evaluate investment opportunities across various asset classes, identify emerging market trends, and contribute to informed decision-making that enhances portfolio performance.

In this role, you will conduct detailed research on companies, sectors, and macroeconomic environments, utilizing quantitative models and qualitative assessments to forecast financial outcomes and assess risk-return profiles. You will prepare analytical reports, investment recommendations, and performance reviews that guide strategic portfolio positioning. By integrating financial theory with real-world market dynamics, you will help ensure that investment decisions align with client objectives, regulatory standards, and long-term value creation goals.

A Research Analyst is expected to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, precision, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will participate in data collection, financial modeling, and valuation analysis, applying tools such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparative valuation, and scenario analysis. Additionally, you will monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and global economic indicators that may influence asset performance or investment strategies.

This role also involves collaborating across teams to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. You will contribute to internal research publications, investment presentations, and risk assessments, ensuring that all recommendations are supported by robust data and analytical integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and portfolio management concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, multiples analysis, relative valuation).
  • Solid knowledge of equity, fixed income, and alternative investment instruments.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Familiarity with financial databases and tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, or Morningstar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial concepts clearly.
  • High ethical standards, professional discipline, and a commitment to continuous learning in the investment field.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
