Inside Sales Senior - Valves and Actuators

This is an exceptional opportunity to excel in a challenging role.

The primary objective of the Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) position is to deliver exceptional customer service by providing pre-sales, post-sales, and technical support.

Under minimal supervision, the ISE provides quote support to customers by sizing, selecting, and recommending equipment that meets their application requirements.

The ISE must be prepared to run face-to-face customer meetings to discuss proposal works and provide expert advice.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide medium to advanced technical solutions, general application assistance, and consultative selling expertise to customers.
  • Coordinate with other sales teams and operational units to provide bundled project quotations.
  • Work closely with customers, field sales, and field service to provide presales application support and generate formal quotations.
  • Lead the customer through the sizing and selection process to choose equipment that meets their needs.
  • Follow up with customers to answer questions and logs.
  • Prioritize excellent phone skills to handle presales technical sales support calls.
  • Support other ISEs and team members to maintain service levels.
  • Perform handover with operation and sales teams for quote conversion into orders.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvements initiatives.
  • Maintain individual performance levels and ensure critical metrics align with targets.
  • Review inventory regularly to quote stock options.
  • Apply factory pricing policy for correct gross profit on each order received.
  • Review estimate inputs from functional departments and supervise cost reports and price forms.
  • Stay updated on competitive prices, new techniques, and cost trends.
  • Estimate project quantities and costs for major tenders efficiently.
  • Prepare all technical documentation for bids.
  • Remain available to customers mostly within the office setting.
  • Record incoming quotations and orders in CRM following Proposals Guidelines.
  • Work with scheduled closing dates arranged by Customer Care department.
  • Verify incoming purchase orders for product selection and sizing correctness.
  • Deliver clean orders to Intercompany Cell.
  • Foster a culture of ethics, vision, mission, and company values.
  • Achieve certification in product selling skills and applications knowledge as requested by the division.
  • Participate in required training, such as Trade Compliance and compliance with legal regulations and Corporate Policies.
