We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Speedcast. As a key member of our technical support team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our satellite network services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced technical professional to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting to clients, as well as collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop sessions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to satellite network services, including IP and RF connectivity.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and products to ensure that technical support is provided to the highest standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical support role, preferably in a satellite communications environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients and internal teams.
- Cisco certifications (ICND or CCNA) and/or GVF qualification are highly desirable.
