**Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented bilingual Portuguese & English speaking customer care Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our Portuguese-speaking customers, providing them with exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries, policy-related questions, and resolve any issues they may encounter.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide accurate information about our insurance products and services in both Portuguese and English.
- Manage customer accounts and process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations.
- Generate insurance quotes and assist customers in understanding coverage options.
- Issue Certificates of Insurance (COI) and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Utilize AMS 360 or similar agency management system to update customer information and process transactions.
- Efficiently manage and prioritize daily tasks and customer requests.
- Collaborate with underwriters and claims departments to expedite customer requests and issue resolutions.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with RingCentral or similar phone systems to handle high call volumes and ensure excellent call management.
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a customer service representative.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma; additional qualifications in relevant fields are a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with insurance products.
- Proficiency with AMS 360 or similar agency management systems.
- Experience using RingCentral or similar phone systems for call management.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
